Cleaning foggy low e tempered windows

First of all, we have well water and the windows face the west. My husband sprayed the window with the hose then cleaned our newly installed low e tempered glass windows with glass cleaner. When it dried, it left a fog on the glass that we can't remove. Help i am desperate!! Will your secret solution work!?!?

My first guess would be hard water deposits. Your well water is most likely hard water which contains calcium and lime minerals. When this water comes in direct contact with the glass, and then dries, it will usually leave behind a calcium deposit on the surface.

If this is the case you will need to use a hard mineral remover on the glass such as: Lime Away, Mineral X, or CLR. After the mineral deposits are removed you need to re-wash the windows one at a time using a squeegee and window scrubbing tools.
