How to clean non removable window screens

Our home was built in 1952 with metal screens that go up into the wall when released. Obviously, not removable. How do I clean them?

The easiest way to clean window screens of this nature is to get your self a wet/dry shop-vac, bucket of hot soapy water and a scrub brush.

First vacuum any dust from both sides of the window screen. I would recommend using the uppulstry brush that comes with your vacuum.

Next scrub both sides of the screen using the brush dipped in the soapy water.

Then finish by sucking the screen dry with the shop-vac.
