Window Cleaning Tool Belt and Buckets

A Window cleaning tool belt is a convenient way to carry all your window cleaning supplies. Having everything right at your side will save you lots of time and energy.

There are many different styles and fabric to choose from. Because you are dealing with water, I recommend getting a leather or nylon pouch. This type of material dries out quickly and will resist mildew.

When choosing a window cleaning tool belt, you want something that fits comfortable. If you’re in a hardware store try on a few different styles to see what you like. One feature to look for is a set up that has a plastic quick clip clasp. This will allow you to put it on and take it off with ease. You will want to have a nice sized pouch and one or two loops to hang tools from. Every set up can be personally customized. You can purchase extra accessory pouches, tool hooks, and even a cell phone holder if you like.

Window Cleaning Buckets

You can choose to use a plain three gallon window cleaning bucket, or a custom made bucket that holds all your tools.

One of the most convenient and efficient ways to hold your window cleaning solution and wand is a bucket that attaches to your tool belt. Nothing works better! This little bucket attaches to your side and will hold a sufficient amount of water to clean several windows at a time. Fill it half way with your solution and slide your scrubbing wand in.

If you choose to use a more traditional floor bucket, try to find a durable oblong type that will allow your wand to rest inside. Also, make sure it has a sturdy handle.

Tip: Mix your solution into a one gallon jug with a tight lid, when the bucket on your belt starts to get low refill it from the jug.
One thing to keep in mind: Building a complete window cleaning tool belt system may cost a bit in the beginning, but it will reward you greatly in the end.
