Keeping House Windows Clean Longer

by Nicole Zundel

I usually spend all day cleaning windows on the exterior of my house. All the windows are ground level except four which I can do from the inside. As you know window cleaning is a lot of hard work. So, I was wondering if there is a trick to keeping house windows clean longer. I’m sure that I follow all the steps outlined on this site. Here is how I clean my windows; if I’m missing something please let me know. I always use a professional grade window cleaning soap that I apply with the window scrubber or strip washer. Sometimes I use the window scraper to remove the bug spots. After the window is scrubbed good, I then use my 16 inch Unger squeegee. Dry my edges and wipe down the frames around the window. Sometimes I might leave a small streak or two which I can live with. I just wish my windows would stay clean for a longer period of time. If you have any window cleaning tips or tricks that might help I would love to hear about it.

Thanks!
