Planning sheet 04 · Transparent arithmetic · Planning estimate

Window cleaning time planner

Enter the planned area — for example the planned-area figure from the area & solution calculator — and your own productivity. The pre-filled 20 m²/h is part of the worked example, not an authoritative rate: measure your own pace on a small section first.

Work hours = area ÷ productivity. Total hours = work hours + setup ÷ 60 + moves × minutes-per-move ÷ 60. Displayed times round to the minute; the calculation keeps unrounded values.

Total planning time

Method notes

  • Planning estimate from your entered productivity — conditions, access and drying time change real durations.
  • Total 1.194667 h = 71.68 min before rounding to the minute.

Worked example — fixed entered values

A planned area of 10.56 m² at an entered productivity of 20 m²/h needs 10.56 ÷ 20 = 0.528 h of cleaning. Adding 30 minutes of setup and two moves of 5 minutes each gives 0.528 + 0.5 + 0.1667 = 1.194667 h = 71.68 min, displayed as 1 h 12 min. The productivity figure is part of the example — substitute your own measured pace.
